They Knew in 1957.And Now the Watchers Are Gone.

The timeline that stops. The locations that keep appearing. And what is being removed while you read this.

If you missed Part 1

In Something Is Wrong With Gravity, we introduced the framework: Earth as a plasma globe, gravity as an inward-flowing electron current, and the physical symptom cluster reported by UAP witnesses across four unconnected cases spanning four decades. We ended with a man named Thomas Townsend Brown, who proved the foundational effect experimentally in 1928. This time we follow what happened next.


In 1956, a research organization called Aviation Studies International published a declassified Air Force report surveying electrogravitic propulsion programs at fourteen major U.S. aerospace contractors. The report called it one of the most significant areas of aerospace development at the time of writing.


In 1957, the public record stopped.


No papers. No patents. No published null results. No concluded program documentation. No official explanation. Fourteen organizations. One fiscal year. Complete silence.

That is where this episode begins.


Thomas Townsend Brown and the Proof the Military Evaluated

Thomas Townsend Brown was born in 1905. He was a self-taught physicist who by the 1920s had documented something that should not have been possible under standard physics: a sufficiently charged asymmetric capacitor experiences thrust in the direction of its positive pole. No moving parts. No combustion. No exhaust. Directional thrust from charge geometry alone.

This became known as the Biefeld-Brown effect. Brown demonstrated it in atmospheric conditions repeatedly. He then demonstrated it in vacuum to eliminate ion wind as an explanation. He demonstrated it underwater to eliminate air as the medium. The results were documented and filed in a British patent, number 300311, in 1928.


In 1952 he submitted Project Winterhaven to the Pentagon. A detailed technical proposal for an electrogravitic disc craft using high-voltage charge differential to interact with the local gravitational field and generate lift and thrust simultaneously.


1952. The same year disc-shaped objects were tracked on radar over restricted airspace above the Capitol. Intercepted by Air Force jets that the objects outran without effort. The Air Force held its largest press conference since World War Two. And explained nothing.


A note on the experimental record: the atmospheric Biefeld-Brown effect is real and well documented. The mainstream scientific consensus attributes it to ion wind, the transfer of momentum from ionized air molecules to surrounding neutral gas. The independent peer-reviewed vacuum replication record is mixed. R.L. Talley in 1988 found no anomalous thrust at high vacuum under DC conditions. Martin Tajmar in 2004 found no linear thrust when corona discharge was excluded by enclosure. Those are credible results and this series acknowledges them honestly. The question this episode is actually asking is not whether the vacuum effect is proven. It is why the institutional record behaved the way it did in 1957.


The Timeline That Stops

Here is the public record in order. Watch where it ends.

1928

T.T. Brown files British Patent 300311 documenting electrostatic thrust. The Biefeld-Brown effect enters the public record.

1944

Brown conducts classified Navy research under Project RAND. Findings not made public.

1952

Project Winterhaven submitted to the Pentagon. The Washington D.C. mass UAP sightings occur. Disc-shaped objects tracked on radar over restricted airspace. Air Force holds largest press conference since WWII and explains nothing.

1953

CIA convenes the Robertson Panel. Classified recommendations include a coordinated program to debunk and discourage public UAP awareness. Declassified 1975.

1956

Aviation Studies International publishes Electrogravitics Systems, Report GRG-013/56. Fourteen contractors confirmed active: Convair, Glenn Martin, Sperry, Lear, and others. Declassified 1990.

1957

Public electrogravitics research ceases simultaneously across all fourteen contractors. No further papers. No further patents in the open literature. Sputnik launch provides political cover for a massive expansion of classified aerospace budgets.

1958+

UAP sightings continue unchanged. Locations remain consistent with high-conductivity geomagnetic zones. No official explanation is offered for the pattern.


Null result programs in science produce papers. They produce conference presentations. They produce institutional post-mortems explaining why the research was discontinued. They do not produce simultaneous silence across fourteen organizations in a single fiscal year.

Something happened. The public record does not tell us what.


The CIA's Robertson Panel was convened in January 1953 specifically to address the UAP question. Its recommendations were classified. They were declassified in 1975 and are publicly available today through the National Security Archive at George Washington University.

The panel's recommendations included a coordinated public program to debunk and discourage public interest in UAP reports. Not because the phenomenon was not real. Because widespread public awareness was considered a national security liability.

If the phenomenon was simply misidentified weather balloons and mass hysteria, there is no national security liability. You do not convene a classified panel and design a public debunking program to manage perception of something that does not exist.

They were not worried about panic. They were worried about people asking the right questions.

A postscript worth noting: after publishing Part 1 of this series, I posted a question to r/AskEngineers about asymmetric electrostatic charging of a capacitor. The first substantive response suggested that a certain class of mental illness produces papers like the one I had posted. The longer response critiqued the methodology of the document I referenced while never once engaging with the independent institutional research record, the Biefeld-Brown patents, the 1952 Navy evaluation, the 1956 Aviation Studies report, or the 1957 silence across fourteen contractors. Across 40 comments, the 1957 question was never addressed. The Robertson Panel recommended managing public awareness by discrediting the questions rather than answering them. That recommendation was executed in an engineering subreddit in 2026 and the effect was exactly what the Panel intended.


The Locations

Here is the convergence the episode builds toward. The locations where classified aerospace research concentrated after 1957 are the same locations where UAP activity has been most persistently documented from 1947 to the present. This is not a vague overlap. It is specific and measurable.


Sits above one of the most significant geomagnetic anomaly zones in the continental United States. The basin and range geology creates natural piezoelectric conditions along its fault systems. Groom Lake sits at the intersection of multiple fault lines. Classified aerospace testing has been documented here since the 1950s. The area has one of the highest concentrations of documented UAP reports in the world.


Sits above the Ramapo Fault, one of the most seismically active fault systems in the northeastern United States. The river creates a continuous conductive surface running north to south through a geomagnetic anomaly zone. Multiple defense contractors and classified government facilities operated in this corridor during the same years as the 1983 to 1986 mass sightings. The craft observed moved silently, at low altitude, directly along the river.


Sits at the confluence of the Ohio and Kanawha Rivers above significant fault activity. The McClintic Wildlife Management Area, the TNT Area, has documented subsurface contamination and unusual electromagnetic readings. Researcher John Keel noted anomalous electromagnetic properties during his original investigation that he could not account for within any framework available to him at the time. Under the model from Part 1, those properties have a name.


Water. Fault lines. Geomagnetic anomalies. The three conditions that mark a naturally pumpable field, present at every major persistent UAP hotspot on record. And present at the locations where the most significant classified aerospace research was conducted after the public record went silent.

Either the classified programs were deliberately built in places with optimal field conditions because they understood the physics. Or something else understood the physics first and the programs followed. Those are the only two explanations the evidence supports.

What Is Happening Right Now

This is where the history becomes the present. While we were building this episode, something started happening in the locations this framework identifies as significant. The following are documented facts, presented in order.


April 19, 2026 A seismic swarm begins in Kanosh, Utah. The Utah Geological Survey describes it as occurring along the eastern margin of the Basin and Range Province, the eastern side of the Black Rock Desert volcanic field. The same geological formation as the Nevada corridor. The USGS notes the swarm may be triggered by fluid migration: heated water or gases moving through fractured rock deep underground. Under the framework from Part 1, that fluid migration is generating piezoelectric charge throughout the surrounding rock. The field in that corridor is being primed.


Ongoing / May 2026 Kilauea, Hawaii. Erupting episodically since December 23, 2024. Episode 46 of lava fountaining forecast for the first week of May 2026. In the 24 hours before this episode was recorded, the USGS logged 96 small earthquakes at the summit. Hawaii sits on one of the most electromagnetically active volcanic hotspots on the planet.


Early 2025 Santorini, Greece. More than 28,000 earthquakes struck the region over a sustained period. Scientists determined the cause was approximately 300 million cubic meters of magma rising from deep within the crust, fracturing surrounding rock as it pushed upward. Santorini sits within the Hellenic volcanic arc, one of the most geophysically anomalous regions in the Mediterranean. The field in that region was significantly activated during that window.

The Utah corridor. Hawaii. Santorini. All active. All in the geological profile this framework identifies as field-active terrain. All at the same time.


Who Is No Longer Watching

Here is where it stops being a historical curiosity.


February 2026 Mass firings sweep through U.S. science agencies. The USGS loses significant staff. Scientists describe being terminated without warning, losing computer access the same day, scrambling to transfer research data to colleagues before access is cut. The USGS is the agency that monitors earthquakes.


April 25, 2026 The entire board of the National Science Foundation is fired. All 22 members. Each receives a terse email: terminated, effective immediately. No explanation given. The NSB was established by Congress in 1950. One fired member states: "I have watched the systematic dismantling of the scientific advisory infrastructure of this government with growing alarm. And the National Science Board is simply the latest casualty."


Six days after the Utah swarm began The NSB terminations occur on April 25th. The Kanosh earthquake swarm began April 19th. Six days apart.


January 2025 through May 2026 The NSF loses more than 30 percent of its total staff. The agency that funds independent scientific research including seismology, geomagnetic monitoring, and atmospheric science. Systematically reduced while the locations this framework identifies as field-active are showing measurable activation.


Each of those facts has an innocent explanation on its own. Budget cuts. Political restructuring. Spending priorities.


Together, they describe the simultaneous activation of field-active geological zones and the removal of the independent scientific infrastructure tasked with monitoring and publicly reporting on those zones.


The Robertson Panel in 1953 told us explicitly that the goal was to manage what the public was allowed to ask. Not because the phenomenon was not real. Because the questions were inconvenient.

The diagram is not fringe. The diagram is a field map. And the field is active.

What This Means

We are not going to tell you what to conclude. That is not what this show does.


What we are going to do is put the pieces on the table.


A framework, grounded in partially declassified research, identifying specific geological and electromagnetic conditions as the terrain where the pumpable field is most accessible. A documented history of classified aerospace research built in those exact locations after the public record went silent in 1957. A pattern of unexplained aerial encounters continuing in those same locations across eight decades. And right now, in the spring of 2026, measurable seismic and volcanic activation in the Basin and Range corridor, in Hawaii, in the Aegean, while the independent scientific infrastructure tasked with monitoring planetary field activity is being systematically removed.


Someone decided a long time ago that you were not supposed to put these pieces together.
