In March 2026, CBS 60 Minutes confirmed that the US government owns a pulsed microwave weapon that matches the physical description of every Havana Syndrome incident since 2016. One month earlier, a Norwegian government scientist built one from scratch to prove it was harmless, tested it on himself, and suffered brain damage. A microwave pulse arrives at the skull and is absorbed by the water content of brain tissue, which runs approximately 75 percent. The rapid absorption causes instant, localized thermoelastic expansion. The tissue heats and expands by a fraction of a millimeter in microseconds. That expansion launches an acoustic pressure wave. A sound. That travels through the skull bones to the inner ear's cochlear receptors.
The brain hears a sound that nothing outside produced.
A single pulse produces a click. A pulse train produces a tone. Variable parameters produce buzzing, hissing, knocking, or the sensation of something striking the inside of the skull. These are the exact symptoms Havana Syndrome victims have reported since 2016. They are not describing psychological disturbance. The US Air Force spent decades attempting to suppress Frey's research because it threatened radar installation approvals. Brooks Air Force Base falsified his experiments rather than allow the public record to reflect what pulsed microwave exposure does to brain tissue. They succeeded in suppressing it until the scale of Havana Syndrome cases made suppression impossible. The suppression itself is documented.
The Biology: What Happens After the Sound
Layer One: Blood-Brain Barrier Disruption
The auditory phenomena are the least of the damage. In 1975, Frey demonstrated a second mechanism. BBB permeability, the blood-brain barrier's ability to keep large molecules out of brain tissue, increases in animals exposed to pulsed radio frequency. A protein called albumin, which is normally completely excluded from the brain, penetrates the disrupted barrier and enters brain tissue.

Level Four: Material Destruction. Extreme power, focused beam. Which brings us to Amy Eskridge.
Amy Eskridge: May 13, 2022
Window blinds do not spontaneously vaporize. PVC requires negative 250 to negative 450 degrees Celsius to vaporize. Aluminium slats melt at 660 degrees Celsius. Fabric ignites at negative 255 degrees. For a focused microwave beam to vaporize window blind material from outside a structure, the power density at the window surface must be sufficient to heat the material to vaporization temperature faster than thermal conduction can dissipate the heat. This is not Havana Syndrome harassment. This is a weapon operating at killing power directed at a residential window.
Amy Eskridge was a researcher working on independent propulsion physics. On May 13, 2022, her hands were near the window. The beam was aimed at the window. The blinds between her hands and the beam vaporized. She received radiation burns from the edge-of-beam exposure. She survived that event.
"I thought I had a weird rash on my hands until I noticed my damage on the window pane a few days later. I never would have known they were radiation burns if they had not accidentally vaporized the window blinds."

2022 to 2026: Private Contractor Deployment. Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, and Raytheon all have active directed energy weapons programs with classified high-power microwave research divisions. All have security subcontractor relationships with firms that have historically handled covert operations. The components for harassment-level deployment are commercially available. The forensic foundation of this entire investigation is the convergence of injury profiles across completely independent cases spanning seventy years.
Rendlesham Forest, 1980, Jim Burroughs: cardiac damage, neurological damage.
The Nolan MRI cohort: basal ganglia damage, cardiac signature.
The Barber retrieval team: cardiac signature confirmed by Nolan.
Amy Eskridge: radiation burns to hands from focused beam exposure.

Alisa Valdes-Rodriguez is a veteran journalist, former Boston Globe and Los Angeles Times reporter, who has spent years investigating Jeffrey Epstein's Zorro Ranch compound in New Mexico. Her reporting has covered the compound's alleged ties to military intelligence operations and the surveillance of nearby US nuclear weapons laboratories.
On May 22nd, 2026, she reported on Substack that her home office was hit by two directed energy weapon attacks. She described a backpack-sized device placed on or near her roof by private military contractors, and a second event originating from the back of a semi truck parked across from her house. She described her symptoms as consistent with Havana Syndrome. She is now in safe houses and has announced she is leaving the United States permanently.
"We should all understand this is real. These are the most cowardly weapons ever created. They attack you at your most vulnerable and trusting, in your home, in bed, and do not kill right away."
Her claims are unverified. No physical evidence has been publicly produced and no law enforcement investigation has been confirmed. That caveat matters and belongs in the record.
What also belongs in the record: the symptom profile she describes matches the documented Frey Effect mechanism precisely. The device description, backpack-sized and deployable from a vehicle, matches the CBS 60 Minutes March 2026 confirmation exactly. Her target profile is consistent with the documented pattern: a researcher getting close to information with significant political and commercial value to people who have demonstrated a willingness to suppress it. Epstein's documented history with journalists includes sending a bullet to a reporter's doorstep and a severed cat's head. The DOJ has been confirmed to have tracked a journalist who exposed him.
She looked at what was happening to her and said: look up Havana Syndrome. She was not wrong about what she was describing.
